The regulations for the newly emerging Volta Nord district envisage an urban block composed of sections of buildings arranged in a rhythmic pattern. The proposed scheme is based on a communal four-unit access, providing additional communal verandas facing the courtyard. The horizontal spatial structure enables flexibility through layering and predetermined opening possibilities. Three large cluster apartments are arranged vertically, occupying the corner of the building. Both the supporting structure and the building envelope are made of a wood-clay composite.
