A compact structure minimises the footprint and the impact on the landscape, while marking the north-eastern boundary of the campus with a concise and functional building. Its integration into the topography aims to minimise the footprint and reduce the amount of earthworks required. The extensive use of wood and clay in combination as the primary building materials optimises the carbon footprint. A consistent separation of the spatial zones and the different component families ensures deconstructability, circularity and reusability.
