DANIEL ABRAHA (*1982, dipl. Arch. ETH) studied architecture at ETH Zurich from 2002 to 2007 and completed internships in Amsterdam and Zurich. In 2010, he opened his own studio together with Stephan Achermann after completing a study trip to East Africa in 2009 with an ETH travel grant. In addition to his own work, Daniel Abraha taught at ETH Zurich in 2010 and 2011 as a teaching assistant for guest lecturers Daniel Buchner and Andreas Bründler, and from 2015 to 2017 as a lecturer in design and construction at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Department of Architecture. From 2017 to 2025, he was a board member of the Architekturforum Zürich. Daniel Abraha has been admitted as a member of the Federation of Swiss Architects in 2020.

STEPHAN ACHERMANN HESS (*1976, dipl. Arch. ETH) completed an apprenticeship as a structural draughtsman in Zurich from 1994 to 1998. From 2002 to 2007, he studied architecture at ETH Zurich and Delft University of Technology, and completed his internship at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. In 2010, he founded his own studio together with Daniel Abraha. In addition to his own work, Stephan Achermann taught at ETH Zurich under Andrea Deplazes as a teaching assistant from 2011 to 2013, and from 2015 to 2017 as a lecturer in design and construction at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Department of Architecture. In 2020, Stephan Achermann has been admitted as a member of the Federation of Swiss Architects.
